What is green tea?

Green tea is made from unoxidised tea leaves which are heated directly after being picked to destroy the enzymes that cause oxidation. This process also retains its natural antioxidant properties, tannins and minerals, making this tea famously high in vitamin content! The leaves can be steamed or roasted, and tend to produce a light grassy and refreshing flavour.
